Welcome back Junior Curators, Longue Vue’s new curatorial program for students ages 10-15!

Archival research, public speaking, and collections management are just a few of the skills that students ages 10 to 15 develop in this two-part course (previously known as Junior Historians). Graduates qualify to lead public tours and assist with community programs at Longue Vue.

Part One: Spring 2022

The Spring session of Junior Curators meets on Saturdays from 2PM to 4PM beginning February 5 and ending February 19. Junior Curators will meet again on Saturday, March 12 from 2PM to 4PM to assist in curating our Spring Swings exhibit.

Part Two: Fall 2022

The Fall session of this two-part course begins October 1, 2022 and meets every Saturday from 2PM to 4PM through October 22. This session will include projects in the Longue Vue archives and Visitor Center, plus a final research presentation.
