Members receive 10% off all items in the Museum Store and Edith & Edgar Garden Café. Discounts on programs range from 10% – 50% depending on the program.

We encourage members to take a photo of their membership card to use as a digital copy.

Yes! You can always change to a different level of membership during the renewal period. If you would like to upgrade to a new level of membership partway through the year, then the fee to upgrade would be equal to the difference in cost between your current membership level and the new one. Mid-term upgrades must be done in-person or over the phone with the Longue Vue membership team. Please call (504) 293-4723 Monday – Friday or (504) 293-4726 Tuesday-Saturday to inquire about membership upgrades.

The renewal period begins two months before the date of expiration. For example, if a membership is set to expire on February 28, then that member can renew as early as January 1. Members will receive an email notifying them of when their renewal period begins.

  1. Membership dues help support Longue Vue’s mission and daily operations. Auto-renewal allows members to maintain their benefits without having to go through the process to manually renew each year.

  1. Reciprocal admissions programs allow Longue Vue members to use their membership card to receive free or discounted admissions at other organizations.
  2. All Longue Vue members have access to 300+ botanical gardens and public gardens across the United States through the American Horticultural Society (AHS) Reciprocal Garden Network. Visit their site to see all of the participating gardens.

Yes! All levels of membership are available to give as a gift. Select ‘This membership is a gift’ during registration to start the process. There will be an option to have the membership, and all renewal materials, sent to you or directly to the recipient depending on your preferences.   1. All students currently enrolled in High School or University can request 50% the Carrie membership level. Must register for membership in-person or email membership@longuevue.com with any questions about this discount.
