For decades, volunteers have worked alongside the garden staff on projects that are vital to Longue Vue’s survival! Whether you’re in need of service hours or just searching for ways to give back to the community, volunteering at Longue Vue is a relaxing, impactful way to roll up your sleeves and make a difference.

After the extensive tornado damage from Tropical Storm Arthur, we are accepting volunteers outside of our weekly and monthly volunteer hours to aid in our recovery efforts. To sign up, please email info@longuevue.com or call (504) 488-5488.

Volunteer Perks: Volunteers receive free admission on their volunteer day, recognition on the Longue Vue website and newsletter, complimentary Carrie membership after 24 hours of service, and an invitation to the annual volunteer appreciation event. High school students can receive verification of hours worked if the volunteer opportunity is approved by the school.
