Longue Vue is committed to fostering growth, education, creativity, and exploration
through seasonal programs in the gardens and historic house.
We offer programs for toddlers with their parent or caregiver, elementary school students,
and adolescents up to age 15.
Ages 5 and under:
Children under 5 and their parents/caretakers meet in our interactive Discovery Garden for early childhood enrichment, free play, garden exploration, and guided learning through craft, song, and other group activities.
Ages 5 to 10:
VUE CREW KIDS GARDEN CLUB
Students will spend their Saturdays learning about gardening techniques, making nature-based art, and exploring their connection to the natural world. Each meeting will have a seasonal theme.
Visit our Vue Crew Kids Garden Club page for updates regarding our new weekend-based format for Spring 2022.
Featuring different themes each session, campers will connect to the natural world through garden observation, arts & crafts projects, games, water play, and more. Each day features a balance of hands-on learning and exploration in the Discovery Garden.
Ages 11 to 15:
Archival research, public speaking, and collections management are just a few of the skills that students ages 10-15 develop in this two-part course (previously known as Junior Historians). Graduates qualify to lead public tours and assist with community programs at Longue Vue.
