Children’s Programs

Longue Vue is committed to fostering growth, education, creativity, and exploration

through seasonal programs in the gardens and historic house.

We offer programs for toddlers with their parent or caregiver, elementary school students,

and adolescents up to age 16.

Ages 5 and under:

  • Children under 5 and their parents/caretakers meet in our interactive Discovery Garden for early childhood enrichment, free play, garden exploration, and guided learning through craft, song, and other group activities.

Visit our Sprouts page for seasonal times, dates, and themes.

Ages 5 to 10:

  • Students will plan and plant their own garden beds, learn organic gardening techniques, and watch their food grow from seed to salad at this after school garden club!

Visit our Vue Crew page for Fall 2021 registration information, including our new Single Day Enrollment drop-in option.

  • Vue Crew After School presents: Harvest Camp & Winter Solstice Camp! School’s out! Spend school breaks at Longue Vue seasonal camps. Students will explore the gardens, create art, play games, and engage in fun activities based around the seasons.

Visit our Vue Crew page to register for Harvest Camp (November 22 to 24) or Winter Solstice Camp (December 20 to 23).

  • Featuring different themes each session, campers will connect to the natural world through garden observation, arts & crafts projects, games, water play, and more. Each day features a balance of hands-on learning and exploration in the Discovery Garden.

Check back this spring for Summer 2022 registration opportunities!

Ages 11 to 16:
