Visit Longue Vue House and Gardens for our first exhibit of the Tricentennial year!
This spectacular exhibit is the first of its kind and will highlight Jewish women and their impact on secular aspects of New Orleans. The exhibit predominately focuses on their contributions in the areas of political activism, the arts, education, and public spaces.
Longue Vue and its legacy are due to an amazing Jewish woman, Edith Stern, and provides an excellent backdrop for the first exhibit of Jewish women of New Orleans in modern history. The scope of the exhibition will be approximately 110 years from 1895 to 2005.
We invite you to join us for this powerful exhibit and to kick off the Tricentennial year at Longue Vue.
The opening is for Longue Vue members and invited guests only. It begins at 4:00pm and ends at 7:00pm. There will be refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
