Learn about the Friends of Longue Vue

All Longue Vue members are invited to join the Friends of Longue Vue,

a group of dedicated Longue Vue volunteers and fundraisers.

The Friends are an auxiliary group to the Board of Directors with a purpose of cultivating interest in and support for Longue Vue House and Gardens through fundraising activities, education programs, and volunteer opportunities that further Longue Vue’s mission. The Friends especially support Longue Vue’s annual fundraisers, Games in the Gardens, and the renowned Design Symposium.

Annual dues are $50 in addition to your annual Longue Vue membership and include an Annual Meeting, structured volunteer opportunities, special Longue Vue Board and Friends events, and behind-the-scenes access to this historic institution.

Games in the Gardens 2021, hosted by the Friends of Longue Vue, raised over $30,000 for education in garden and the natural environment, allowing us to reach even more children and families in New Orleans as Longue Vue enters a second century of engagement with our community.
