Why public gardens?

In an increasingly fast paced world, with so many things on our minds, many of us enjoy taking a step back, slowing down, and pausing to smell the magnolias. Public gardens offer a superb site for the community to relax and destress from everyday life. They are tools, also, for education on native flora and conservation. The goal of any garden is to cultivate an appreciation of natural beauty and a passion to share it.
