Longue Vue House and Gardens presents Impressions:
New Orleans, Northshore and Beyond
by plein air
Artist-in-Residence, Peg Usner.

The exhibit highlights Usner’s en plein air work
including places such as the top of the Smokey
Mountains, sands of the Gulf Coast, and Longue Vue.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Interested in art from a young age, Usner has a bahcelor’s of fine
arts, and a master’s in history. She is trained as an interior designer
and taught at Delgado for over 20 years. A member of the St.
Tammany Art Associate since 1997, her work has been shown at
the Three Rivers Art Festival, New Iberia and Abita Springs
en plein air events. Usner recently illustrated a book or poetry
Nature All Around Us (2017) by David Campbell.

If you go on a tour of Longue Vue, you will have time to
view the exhibit. If you do not wish to tour the house or gardens,
you may purchase an admission ticket in the gift shop at Longue Vue.
Prints of Peirre’s Tricentennial artwork titled, “Resilience,”
are also available in the gift shop.
