Leaf blowers – even electric – cause noise pollution and disrupt delicate ecosystems that support a healthy environment. Gas-powered leaf blowers are also terrible air polluters.
That’s why Longue Vue put down all leaf blowers, for good, in 2019. We invite businesses, organizations, and community members to support our eco-friendly initiative. Join us in the effort to change how we garden and maintain our outdoor spaces by trading leaf blowers for rakes on September 19, Rake Day 2023!
