Safety on Site
In consideration of recommendations by the City of New Orleans and State of Louisiana, as well as CDC recommendations, the visitor experience is strictly monitored at Longue Vue at this time. Registration is required for admission, all guests must provide contact information, and tour group sizes may be smaller than usual.
Longue Vue is closely monitoring the public health situation relative to COVID-19 and will announce any additional restrictions or loosening of restrictions when possible.
- Social distancing reminders
- Enhanced cleaning
- Reception is now located in the Entrance Court; all visitors must sign and provide contact information before entering campus.
Masks are not currently required at Longue Vue at this time. Our staff will mask up when sharing interior spaces, such as a house tour, with a guest who chooses to wear a mask. Our mask policy is subject to change at any time based on state and local mandates. Guests are still encouraged to social distance when appropriate, wash or sanitize hands regularly while at Longue Vue, and not visit Longue Vue if they are feeling sick.
Thank you for your understanding and continued patronage of Longue Vue!

Longue Vue does not allow pets on our grounds due to the historic nature of our site. Service animals trained for specific tasks or duties to aid a person with a disability are always welcome. Emotional support animals, however, are not allowed because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task and do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Click here for more information about ADA service animal guidelines, or email email@example.com if you have a specific inquiry about accommodations during your visit.
