the Spring Garden Seminar covers topics in the fields of horticulture and
garden design. For the 2018 seminar, we are proud to
welcome garden designer Troy Rhone, and Stephen Sonnier of
Dunn & Sonnier Flowers and Antiques as our speakers.

With great thoughtfulness and conviction to deliver the very best
in quality, aesthetic, functionality and purpose, Troy Rhone creates
gardens that are extensions of the interiors–they are rooted and
connected historically and architecturally and align with the
personalities and lifestyles of those who reside there. He is innately
talented and sure to use his gifts to enrich others’ lives with his
calm demeanor, thoughtful approach and honesty. People are drawn
to him and long lasting relationships are formed.
Stephen Sonnier has been buying and selling antiques for 25
years – beginning with buying for his own home and enjoyment.
However, he soon realized he had an opportunity to share his
passion and purchases with others by opening a store. In
1992, Stephen and his partner, Roy Dunn, decided to move
to New Orleans and chose well-known Magazine Street
as the perfect location for their store. The antiques
and object d’art in the store are eclectic, reflecting their
