Summer Volunteering

Volunteering at Longue Vue presents a unique opportunity to learn new skills, spend time behind-the-scenes of the historic house and gardens, and join a diverse and vibrant community. Volunteers have a tremendous impact on Longue Vue and we welcome their friendly faces, wide ranging skills, and boundless enthusiasm.

This summer we are pleased to welcome student volunteers back to Longue Vue! We have a variety of opportunities for many age groups and interests including offerings in the gardens, summer camp, and in the historic house museum. We also offer opportunities for corporate groups that include team-building activities.

As a volunteer you will receive free admission for the day(s) you volunteer, recognition on the Longue Vue website and E-Vue newsletter, and an invitation to the annual volunteer recognition event. High school students can receive verification of hours worked if the volunteer opportunity is approved by the school.

For adult garden volunteer information, visit From the Gardens.
