Thursday Garden Volunteers

Come dig alongside the garden staff in the beautiful eight-acres of Longue Vue’s gardens! Garden Volunteers meet every Thursday from 8:30AM to 10:30AM and the second Saturday of each month from 9AM to 11AM. Garden Volunteers meet rain or shine.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- Closed-toe footwear
- Gloves
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, etc.)
- A reusable water bottle
What we provide:
- Water refill stations
- Bug spray
- Tools for each specific job
- Infinite wisdom and camaraderie!
How you will help:
- Weeding
- Raking
- Sweeping
- Planting
- Mulching
- Trimming
- Soil building and more!
