About the Artist
Freddie Blue and the Friendship Circle bring a joyful, groove-driven sound they call JAmericana-New Orleans roots rock with a splash of reggae. Fresh off their 2026 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival debut, this seasoned quartet—Freddie Blue (vocals and guitar), Johnny Vajner (electric violin, guitar, and vocals), Bob Netcoh (bass and MC), and Sam Colgate (drums)—delivers engaging, high-energy shows blending tight arrangements with just the right touch of improvisation.
